Martin Piercy lives and works in Hampshire, England. He is best known by many for his large multiple canvas, "surf wave" paintings that began when he was the resident artist at a Portsmouth Gallery in 2001.

Martin has sold his wave paintings to many parts of the world and his nautical paintings continue to prove hugely successful. However, he is also happy to paint other subjects, and has a love of painting rivers, people and the countryside.
